We are proud to inform our pet owners that our high density meat & fish formulas contain 540 kcal per cup for canines! Dogs are considered mostly carnivores so high meat/fish content means health & vitality!

Feed less - with less stool while maintaining their optimum weight! It satisfies their hunger as well!!

Note:

• Most senior dogs (nine +) never have any joint issues feeding on our rich omega Happy Paws food! However for those who might have some arthritic soreness etc we recommend adding a good quality Glucosamine & MSM combination added to their food - slightly moistened. Available in capsule or powder form are sold at health stores - follow weight guidelines or discuss dosage with health care professional at your health store!
  
  
• There have been some small changes to the manufacturing system over the years with new equipment which has resulted in some minor changes in the calories per cup. The formulas have remained the same. Currently, a cup of dog food has approximately 540 calories.
  
  
• A switch from probiotic to prebiotic was initiated in response to regulations. To use probiotics, the amount of probiotic would have to be reported on the label, and because of shelf life for kibble products it is not possible to guarantee the amount of viable probiotic in the product post manufacturing. With prebiotics this is not a problem.
